Waterways of Southwestern PA We provide Service testing of Fire Hose and Ground Ladders, as well as Hard Suction hose. All hose is pulled off of the apparatus and given a visual inspection.

Then it is banded at the couplings and numbered for documentation. Once filled, the hose is pressure tested to the correct pressure required by NFPA 1962. When completed the hose is packed back on the apparatus parade style and to the Departments' specifications. Ground ladder testing is defined by NFPA 1932. A series of visual and weight tests are administered to all ground ladders.
