It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of former Chartiers-Houston wrestler, Jessie Orbin Jr.

Jessie was proud to be a Buccaneer. He brought passion, determination, and pride to our wrestling room and represented our program with heart. He carried that passion with him to Waynesburg University, where he was a PAC Champion and most recently celebrated his 100 collegiate wins. While his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the impact he made on his teammates, coaches, the program and his friends will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jessie’s family, loved ones, teammates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing.

Once a Buccaneer, always a Buccaneer.

Rest easy, Jessie. You will always be remembered and forever be a part of the Chartiers-Houston Wrestling family.

Get your wrestlers moving this summer and prep for Pins in the Park at Kennywood! This two-day intensive camp is open to all incoming 3rd graders and up.

🚗 Drop-off/Pick-up: Athletic Entrance of the High School

💰 Cost: $80 total for both days

🍕 Lunch: Provided both days by Metz Culinary Management!

Nice job gentlemen!

Four Bethel Park boys lacrosse players earned All-Section honors in Class 2A, Section 1, as selected by WPIAL coaches. Junior Tyler Miller, who also earned a spot on the Class 2A All-WPIAL team, was joined on the All-Section squad by senior Gavin Edkins, junior Charles Hegedus, and senior Peter Velisaris.

Miller, a long-stick midfielder, was the Black Hawks' lone representative on the All-WPIAL team, which was highlighted regionally by South Fayette's Drew Welhorsky, a three-time All-WPIAL selection and Post-Gazette Player of the Year.

Congratulations to Bethel Park Schools Junior, Jackson Edwards, on coming in FIRST at WPIALs (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke! 🏊 Keep up the great work!

Way to go!

The Bethel Park High School Ultimate Frisbee team, Renegade, captured the Division 2 championship of the Pittsburgh High School Ultimate League on Wednesday with a 12-4 victory over Mt. Lebanon at Village Green Park.

The team was led by senior captains Wyatt Sodini, Parker Walton, and Nathan George. Renegade is coached by Phil Becker, with Ryan Van Horenbeck serving as assistant coach.

The baseball team joins the boys and girls lacrosse teams all having dominant first round playoff victories. The boys baseball team defeated Latrobe 6-1 to advance in the playoffs.
