On this National Teachers Appreciation Week, the Town of Bethany proudly recognizes and honors the educators who shape the lives of our children and strengthen the fabric of our community. Teaching is far more than a profession — it is a calling.

Every day, our educators arrive with purpose and leave having made a difference. From preschool through high school and beyond, across every subject and every specialty, they meet our youth where they are and guide them toward who they can become.

Today we celebrate all of them: our classroom teachers and special education professionals, our school counselors and reading specialists, our paraprofessionals and instructional aides, our coaches, tutors, and substitute teachers — every individual who dedicates themselves to the education and well-being of young people in the Bethany school district.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the educators who are proud residents of Bethany, neighbors who carry the spirit of this community into classrooms across Connecticut and beyond. Your work reflects the values we hold dear as a town.

To every teacher we are privileged to call part of our community: thank you. The seeds you plant today will grow for generations to come.
