Meet a PtHA Missouri Youth Director!
Faith Engemann is a sophomore at Hermann High School. She has been showing Pinto for four years and has been a state director for 2 years. Her horse’s name is HF Color Me Art, a paint gelding. His barn name is Rusty and they compete in everything including Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Trail. Faith’s favorite class is Hunt Seat Equitation. She loved attending Pinto world in Tulsa this summer. This was the first time Faith had been to the world show. She has been to the Color Breed Congress before and showed her friend’s horse, but this was the first year she showed her own horse. They had a great show and came home with three world titles in the English classes. Faith also took her 26 year old POA mare and earned a Reserve and World Title in ranch. This was her last show, she is now retired on the farm. Faith’s biggest supporter is her mom. Faith’s horses love cheezits and gummy bears. Her mom is the best horse show mom that anyone could ask for and is wonderful at helping her with her horse. She loves traveling to shows with her and brings a lot of joy into Faith’s life. Along with showing horses Faith plays volleyball, shows hogs, volunteers for the local food pantry and church as well as involved in 4-H. She is very involved in FFA this year and is the 2nd Vice President. She has her own business card, Faithful Farms, LLC. She is a distributor for American Wood Fibers, providing high quality shavings all over Mid-Missouri. Customers use her shavings for show hogs and she also provides shavings for horse show circuits and the Missouri State 4-H horse show. Faith wanted to be a youth director because she wanted people to know that Pinto is a wonderful organization and offers something for everyone.
