Next week is Bullying Prevention Week at Overholser! We are flying high celebrating with a week of dress-up days! ✈️

Monday: Wear your favorite Overholser shirt
Tuesday: Dress like you're visiting your favorite country
Wednesday: Wear pajamas or comfy clothes
Thursday: Wear camouflage or animal print
Friday: Dress like a superhero or your favorite book character

You can help at home by talking about being kind to others, showing respect for the people and places around us, and being empathetic towards others and their emotions. Remember, if you see something, say something. Oilers don't let others get bullied. ❤️

What a Friday it was! 🤗

We had not one, but two very special guests! Our friends from PCWest came during our morning arrival! We love to start the day with high fives, smiles, and some extra fun! 💛💙
Then, during our Morning Meeting time we had four special guests from the Oklahoma Philharmonic perform a wide variety of songs, teach us about stringed instruments, and even let some of our Oilers control the quartet! Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us! 🎻

After that, we got busy with not one, but two celebrations! Today is National Custodians Day! We appreciate all the amazing, hard work that Ms. Penny does every day for our school and we were so happy to celebrate her! Thank you, Ms. Penny! 👏
We also took time to wish our very own principal a very happy birthday with his own buffet of treats! Have a great birthday, Mr. McClendon! 🥳

Between all of that AND picture retakes, it's already been a busy but very fun Friday!
