Calling All Dreamers!

Parents, we need your help! Encourage your children and teens to participate in the SPARK Slogan Contest and help create the official slogan for the Dream Center!

This is a great opportunity for young people to share their creativity and leave their mark on a place designed just for them. Remember: The slogan must include the word "SPARK." Let's work together to shape the identity of the Dream Center—one SPARK of inspiration at a time!

Program Highlight: The EPIC (Effective Parenting Instruction Curriculum) program helps parents and caregivers build stronger, more resilient families by teaching positive discipline techniques, effective communication, and child development milestones. Over the six-week course, adults learn practical strategies to manage stress, understand their child's emotional needs, and replace reactive behaviors with positive, supportive parenting practices.

The parenting classes are recognized by the Alabama Department of Human Resources and the court system. Parent Graduations held after the completion of the 6-weeks program.

Congratulations to all of our students! We have three students that will attend Alabama State University and received scholarships on behalf of the university. Dr. Freddie Williams, Vice President of Admissions and Recruitment and Malinda W. Swoope, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment were in attendance to recognize the students and give ASU Swag Boxes. The US Army attended as we had a student recently complete basic training in infantry and has enrolled in Grand Canyon University online. Program partner Career Health Services provided CNA workforce credentials for enrolled students in C+. YouthBuild Global Career Health Services Academy, LLC U.S. Army
