Honored to attend the 3rd Annual Pro-Blitz Gala & Golf Tournament hosted by the James Bradberry IV Foundation, supporting the incredible work of the A.G. Boys and Girls Club.

It was an inspiring evening centered on investing in our youth, strengthening our community, and creating real opportunities for the next generation. Grateful to be in a space where purpose meets action and where giving back is at the heart of it all.

This week has been a strong reminder that Bessemer is continuously moving forward.

Through meaningful conversations with business leaders. It’s clear, Bessemer is a city built for growth and opportunity.
We also proudly celebrated the promotion of dedicated members of our law enforcement, whose service helps keep our community strong and safe.

In addition, strengthening relationships with leaders across Alabama ensures we continue bringing resources and opportunities back home.

Bessemer is on the move, and the best is still ahead.

The NLC brings together elected officials from cities across the country to share solutions to the very challenges our residents face every day, from economic development and public safety to infrastructure, housing, and youth opportunity. When I sit at that table, Bessemer has a seat in the national conversation.
What I bring back home matters: proven strategies from cities that have tackled problems similar to ours, federal funding opportunities we can pursue, and partnerships that can open doors for our community. I also make sure that the voice of Bessemer’s needs, our stories, and our progress is heard.

It was truly an honor to celebrate our award-winning Robotics team atBessemer City Middle School and contribute to the incredible work they are doing. These students are inspiring, and I am so proud of their creativity, and teamwork. I’m excited to see how far this talented group will go!
