Tredyffrin Township is excited to team up with Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia for The Big Give 2027! 🎉
All September long, you can drop off new or gently used clothing, shoes, winter coats & accessories, NEW socks/underwear, diapers, wipes, and more at the Township Building, Tredyffrin Library, and Paoli Library.
Clean out those closets and help support children in need across our community! 💙

🚨 ROAD CLOSURE ALERT! 🚨

East Central Avenue at Route 252 will be closed on Tuesday, September 8, starting at 9:00 AM for construction. The closure is expected to last several hours.

🚩 Flaggers will be posted at 252 & Vincent Road to assist with traffic.

Please plan ahead and use an alternate route if possible. 🚧

🎉 Playground Updates! 🎉
We’re excited to share that the new playgrounds at LAD Park & Strafford Park are now officially open!
The newly installed swing set at LAD Park is almost ready - final touches are underway, and it’s expected to be completed and open by the end of the month.
Please note: While the play areas are open, the surrounding grounds have been freshly seeded with new soil. Use caution, as these areas may be muddy during wet weather.
Enjoy the new spaces, and thank you for your patience as improvements continue! 🌱🛝

In observance of Labor Day, Township offices will close at 2 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026 and will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026. Additionally, the Mill Road Leaf Site will be open on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 due to the holiday.

Meet the “Bloodhounds” 🐾

His Majesty’s 40th Regiment, 2nd Battalion Light Infantry - known as the “Bloodhounds” - will bring the world of the American Revolution to life at Teegarden Park on September 19 and 20, 2026.

The regiment portrays British light infantry during the Revolutionary War and helps audiences understand what military life, training and combat looked like in the 18th century.

The unit’s story is especially connected to 1777, when British Commander-in-Chief Sir William Howe launched his campaign to capture Philadelphia.

Now, more than 200 years later, they’re bringing that history to Tredyffrin Township.

Come see history in action as part of Chester County 250!

Did you know? The Revolutionary War wasn't fought entirely from behind trees and rocks.
Much of the fighting relied on muskets, bayonets and field artillery, with soldiers trained to fight in organized formations.
At the upcoming Revolutionary War encampment at Teegarden Park, you can learn more about how soldiers actually fought - and how British troops adapted their tactics to the forests, fences and rugged terrain of North America.
