Rescue Squad 14 runs back to back fires. Yesterday at around 1230 hrs Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond to to the 11700 blk of South Laurel Dr for numerous calls on the building fire. Units arrived on scene to find a terrace level apartment fire. Rescue Squad 14 split crews and completed searches throughout. Shortly after clearing that Working Fire Rescue Squad 14 was again alerted to respond for the building fire in the 9700 blk of Good Luck Rd. Once again units went on scene with fire showing and Rescue Squad 14 split crews and completed searches throughout.

At around 0000 hrs this morning Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond to the 5400 blk of 56th Pl for the reported apartment catching on fire and windows breaking. Upon arrival Rescue Squad 14 split crews and started searching the fire apartment and adjacent apartments.

At around 0915 Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond to the 10900 block of Rhode Island Ave for the Personal Injury Accident with Entrapment. Rescue Squad 14 arrived on scene and extricated one occupant.

This individual is not, and has never been, a member of our organization.

On Saturday May 30th just before 15:00 hrs Rescue Squad 14 was dispatched to I-95 Northbound at Sandy Spring Rd. Rescue Squad 14 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle accident with 1 person trapped. Rescue Squad 14 removed both sides and the roof to extricate the trapped occupant.

Just before midnight Rescue Squad 14 was dispatched to the 9500 Blk of Adelphi Rd in Montgomery County for the reports of flames coming from the windows. Rescue Squad 14 arrived on scene, completed searches throughout, softened the building and opened up before returning to service.

At around 1140 hours Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond to I-95 near Sandy Spring Rd for the overturned tractor trailer with one trapped. Upon arrival Rescue Squad 14 stabilized the tractor trailer and extricated the trapped driver.

On May 12th just after 3pm Truck 14 was dispatched as the second due truck company to the 6000 blk of 37th Ave in Company 1’s area. Truck 801 arrived on scene with smoke showing and found a working fire in the basement. Truck 14 arrived on scene and was assigned to operate on division 1. Truck 14 opened up, completed searches and softened the building before returning to service.

At around 1430 Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond to the intersection of Greenbelt Rd & Cunningham Dr for the Rescue Local. Rescue Squad 14 arrived on scene and found one driver trapped. Rescue Squad 14 extricated the driver via side wall removal and returned to service.

Rescue Squad 14 was alerted to respond on the Fire Task Force to the 5100 blk of Annapolis Rd. Rescue Squad 14 was assigned the Division 2 Supervisor and went to work opening the walls and roof exposing hidden fire.
