With over 320 funds, Community Giving Foundation has helped many families, individuals, and businesses create a lasting charitable legacy—grants and scholarships are made every year in their name, reflecting an ongoing commitment to

Teamwork makes the dream work! 🤝 We are still celebrating an incredible Elevate2 conference at Bucknell University. This event represents a powerful partnership between the Community Giving Foundation and the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP), reflecting our shared commitment to uplifting the entire region.

Bringing Elevate2 to life took an immense amount of heart and dedication from our joint foundation staff. Shoutout to our host committee —Kara Seesholtz, Jennifer Wilson, Katie Simpson, Erin Ruhl, Danny Hess, Jason McCahan, Alyssa Meyers-Sanonu, Betty Gilmour, and Becky Stugart — for bringing this vision to life for our region's nonprofits.

Yesterday, the Community Giving Foundation hosted our third annual Scholarship Event at The Barn at Frosty Valley, welcoming 250 students, families, and donors to celebrate over $580,000 in awards distributed to 214 high school seniors and current undergraduate students.

Foundation President and CEO Kara Seesholtz reflected on the profound impact of these funds, while Community Giving Foundation: Berwick board member Amber Hughes shared from her own journey as a recipient, highlighting how these awards represent a collaborative investment into the future.

The morning gave recipients a special opportunity to personally thank the donors who make these life-changing opportunities possible. We are so proud to support the next generation of leaders!
