Our first grade classroom had some very special furry visitors!
Bruno and his poodle friend Quincy came to visit, and we couldn’t have been more excited! What made this visit extra special was getting to learn from one of our very own Berthold students, Adela, who has put in the time, dedication, and hard work to help Bruno become a certified service dog.
What an incredible opportunity for our students to see firsthand the commitment, patience, and teamwork that goes into training a service dog and to learn that amazing opportunities can come from right within our own school community!
The first graders loved petting, watching, and learning more about the important job a service dog can do. We are so proud of Adela for all of the hard work she has put into this journey, and we are so thankful she shared it with our class!🐕🦺💜
