🍂 September Forage Guide 🍂
A hint of Fall - maybe?
September an important month for planning your forages. Here are a few key reminders:

🌾Plant: Annual ryegrass, orchardgrass, tall fescue, timothy, alfalfa, sorghum sudangrass, pearl millet, browntop millet, corn, and small grains.

🚜Spray: Apply brush control herbicides, treat summer perennial broadleaf weeds, and spray pre-emergence by mid-September for ryegrass control.

🐂Harvest & Graze: Start your stockpile plan and remember, you should be grazing almost everything this time of year!

We are excited to kick off fair week and invite you to come out to the Carroll County Fair! There will be lots to see and do!

🧵🪡Wow!! What a rewarding day! 🪡🧵

We started the day with a sewing workshop for our 4-H members! A special thank you to Sharon High, Country Chicks and Roosters EHC President, for coming and helping! We wouldn’t have been as successful without you!!

We also hosted our first Adult Sewing Class! We have 8 new sewists with beautiful finished tote bags in Carroll County! 🪡🧵

We are offering a Sewing 101 Workshop for ADULTS! Tuesday July 30 at 5:30 PM at the Carroll Electric Community Room. Pre-registration is required and payment is required to hold your spot! There are only 10 spots! If this class is popular and successful, we may open another class!

Registration opens Monday, July 6 at 8:00 AM!
