๐ŸŒฑโ˜€๏ธ June Forage Guide*โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ

June is a busy month for pasture and forage management! Now is the time to establish warm-season forages, control troublesome weeds, and make the most of your grazing acres.

โœ… Plant: Browntop millet, foxtail millet, pearl millet, sorghum-sudangrass, bermudagrass, Old World bluestem, and dallisgrass.

โœ… Spray: Target summer annual weeds, perennial broadleaf weeds, and brush species while they are actively growing.

โœ… Harvest & Graze: Many warm-season forages are ready to provide quality forage for livestock this month.

Healthy forage starts with timely management. A little planning in June can pay off with productive pastures all season long!

It is already June, it's time to start getting those livestock projects dialed in for a successful show season. Everyone is invited to join us for an evening of explaining what the daily grind looks like.
It does not matter the species you are showing we will have someone there with experience to answer any questions.
All you have to do is bring yourself.

Please contact the office at 870-423-2958 if you plan to bring your animal to this. It would be for, checking weight and fair check-in.
We will have a follow-up Showmanship Workshop July 6th. You will be asked to bring an animal then if possible.
