The Clarke County Victim Witness Program staff attended a training event yesterday entitled “Responding To Intimate Partner Violence”. The speaker, Nancy Oglesby, did a fantastic job presenting this sensitive topic. We appreciate The Wi******er Victim Witness Program and the Wi******er Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for hosting this event.

Mark your calendar for Tues., August 7, 2018 to join us at National Night Out in Rose Hill Park, Berryville from 6-8 PM.
This annual event is hosted by The Clarke County Victim Witness Program, The Berryville Police Department, and the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office. This is a free, family event that includes live music, free hamburgers and hotdogs (thank you Audley Farm, Boyd’s Nest, and The Berryville Grille), a bounce house (thank you Berryville True Value), treats and face painting (thank you 7-11 @ Double Tollgate), and fantastic door prizes (be sure to stop by the Victim Witness booth for a ticket to enter).
Other community partners scheduled to participate are: Blue Ridge Hospice, Northwestern Community Services, Habitat for Humanity of Wi******er/Frederick/Clarke Counties, The Laurel Center, Clarke County Animal Shelter, VA State Police, and the Clarke County Department of Social Services just to name a few!
Come out and meet your local law enforcement and local responders!
