TODAY AT 6:00 PM:
Join Terri Fivash, author of the Dahveed books, as she shares how to dig into research. Research is what turns a story from "Oh, what a nice, interesting story" into "I couldn't put it down! I felt like I was living in it!"
Research can not only make the settings and situations of stories live for the reader, but can, on occasion, be the foundation of the story from the very beginning. So, let's dig into research, how it's done, how to use it when you write, how to spot it in the stories you read, and why it matters.

Wednesday, July 1, 6:00pm: Do you have some special and/or unusual family heirlooms that you'd like to show off? Bring them to the library for a show and tell! (They don't have to be expensive to be heirlooms!) Each person will have a table or portion of a table to present their heirloom(s) and can tell visitors about it - how old it is, where it came from, etc. Register at the front desk or at https://forms.gle/uZQTkADQcf4tBc5y6.

If you don't have an heirloom you can show, please stop by to see what others have to share! Let's "unearth" those stories!
