Yesterday Tanker 29 responded to Centre Twp. for a working house fire. Crews supported fire ground operations and water supply.

Pictured is the clappered Siamese that we have equipped both of our suppression pieces with. This has greatly supported numerous fire ground operations by allowing a continuous water supply via Tankers without the delay of establishing a port-a-pond or only having one Tanker supplying the scene at a time.

We’re only a few days out from the 2026 Sportsman Raffle. We have been receiving some questions and want put it out there for everyone.

Currently we do not have any more tickets for sale. In the event that we receive any unsold tickets we will make a notification but at this time we are sold out.

This event is a ticketed entry event; you must have a ticket to enter.

EZ-UPS: are able to be set up after 6pm Friday. We are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.

Gates will open at 1030 Saturday and we are more than excited to spend a great day with you!

Is anyone else excited for Saturdays Sportsman raffle?! We’re excited to bring so many extra side raffles. Our famous fries are on the menu of course! We hope to see you Saturday!!

We are thankful for the continued support from Bernville Borough. We are on track for our largest fundraising event May 16th. The event is Rain or Shine! Tickets are required along with being 21 and older to attend. See a member for tickets. We are excited to see you if you are planning to attend!

Umbenhauer Park located within Bernville Borough, Berks County Pennsylvania, will be closed to the general public on Saturday, May 16, 2026 for a fundraising event hosted by the Bernville Community Fire Company.
The Bernville Community Fire Company will be hosting their Annual Sportsman Raffle. All proceeds benefit the 100% community volunteered Bernville Community Fire Company. This event helps support their vital continued services to local communities.
The fundraising event requires a ticket and that you be at least 21 years of age to enter.
We appreciate your support and understanding.

Membership Spotlight

Congratulations to Riley Ecker who has recently completed her Nursing Program. This schooling is rigorous. Riley serves as an EMT for the department. Way to go Riley!

The next week is looking considerably dry. We know the urge to clean up from the winter stretch and burn is high but please refrain from open burning. Burn piles that grow out of control can be the reason for a significant loss of property and life.

Exercise caution ⛔️ if you do.

Keep a watchful eye on weather conditions, especially the wind.

Do NOT leave a burn unattended

Have an extinguishing agent available

Ensure all burn piles are soaked down and fully extinguished

The Officers and Members of the BCFC wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to the Walnuttown Fire Co. during this incredibly difficult time. Our hearts go out to the families, friends, and fellow firefighters who are grieving the tragic loss of two of their own. Please know that your brothers and sisters at the BCFC stand with you and offer any support during this time. We honor their service and will never forget their dedication to the community.
