We encourage patrons to please sign the guestbook, and take a notecard to pass a sweet note along to the next reader. In March of '17, an F1 tornado ripped through the outskirts of our community, damaging many homes and properties. We were shocked to find that we had lost an entire wall of our home to the storm's wrath. Within moments, good Samaritans came to our rescue -- friends, family, neighbo

rs, and strangers. From that moment, I knew I wanted to do something to give back to our sweet community -- and thus the idea of The Mulebox was born. Through The Mulebox, our hope is to spread a love of reading beyond the doors of the school. We want to help foster an excitement for reading all throughout our community. Not only that, but we aim to promote love and kindness among community members and strangers alike. Through the practice of cards, letters, and simple notes left in The Mulebox's books, we hope to shower others with love, peace, and joy.

All books in The Mulebox LFL will have a special label inside. Books from any LFL are always for free, and never for sale. Books should be kept for good, passed along to a friend, returned to The Mulebox, or donated to another LFL. Please never sell them.
