After losing the Feeding Hands pantry, we're grateful to The Food Bank Network of Somerset County and Our Lady of Perpetual Help for bringing a pantry back to Bernardsville to help our neighbors in need.

The pantry will be open today, September 15, and October 20, 5-8 p.m. at the Chapel on Bernard’s Avenue. Starting in November, the Pantry will be open twice each month on the following Tuesdays: November 3 and 17, December 1 and 15.

If you would like to contribute, here's what's needed: Diapers-size 3 and up (no 1 or 2), wipes, baby wash and lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, oil (vegetable - Size 24 oz.), laundry detergent (smaller containers), and dish detergent. The items can be dropped off on the rectory porch at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. (111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville).

Easy and free disposal of Hazardous Waste is taking place on Saturday 9/19 from 9am-2pm in Branchburg.

Hazardous Materials should never be placed in Trash.

Propane Tanks, Fire Extinguishers, Florescent Bulbs, Oil Paint, etc. Last 2026 Event takes place on 10/17 in Hillsborough for Somerset County residents only.

The Bernardsville Compost Facility is open this Saturday 9/5/26: 9:00am-2:30pm for Brush & Leaf Disposal as well as Clean White Styrofoam Recycling. Located at 150 Pill Hill Road for residents with identification. 🌳♻

On Thursday, September 10, Bernardsville will join Heartworks for a special Night of Reflection.

We invite our community to come together in remembrance as the names of local residents whose lives were lost on 9/11 are read aloud.

This evening is intended as an opportunity to reflect, remember, and honor those we lost.
