Look who stopped by Scherman Hoffman! 🐦 A visitor caught this gorgeous Scarlet Tanager and a Carolina Wren on camera during their walk through the sanctuary this past July — that flash of red against the green canopy and that big voice coming from such a little bird never gets old.

This week, Ms. Stephanie presented Mr. Angus with an award honoring his incredible 8 years of service to New Jersey Audubon! 🎉

Mr. Angus wears so many hats here at Scherman Hoffman — he runs our Linden Hawkrise programs, leads our WSB Youth Birding Team, and is a beloved teacher in our Summer Camp program. His passion for connecting young people with birds and nature has shaped countless campers and young birders over the years.

Thank you, Mr. Angus, for your dedication, your energy, and everything you've poured into our programs and our community. Here's to many more years of birding adventures together! 🦅💚
