We are on the home stretch! I hope everyone can come to Pioneer on Friday night Sept. 21st, for a production on Bernardston History from the beginning to current! Starts at 7pm and we are asking for a $3 donation for adults and students are free.

There will be a lot going on in Cushman Park and at Powers Institute all day on Saturday. Our parachutests will now be landing at 11 am behind the Four Leaf to kick off the start of the parade! There is parking at Kringle Farm on Cross St and you can walk to Townsley Plumbing on South St where there is a set of bleachers. There is no shuttle bus from here to the center of town. There is additional parking behind the Gray Farm next to Antonio's II in the center of town (watch for signs). Also there is parking at the field next to the Inn at Crumpin Fox with a free shuttle bus running every 15 minutes starting at 9am. Drop off will be at the Fire dept until 11:30 and then during the parade drop off will be at Streeters Barber shop. So be sure to come early to get here. After the parade the shuttle will resume pick up and drop off at the Fire Dept.

Fireworks! We are checking with the board of health about the EEE outbreak. Please be sure to bring bug spray and wear long sleeves and pants. Please listen to WHAI 98.3 and Bear 95.3 when we get closer to Saturday in case the threat of EEE increases and we need to cancel the fireworks (again).
