Hey Berlin! We need your help! The City of Berlin is receiving trees from the Alliant Energy Tree Initiative Grant and we need volunteer organizations and business to help plant them. DPW will dig the holes and the organization will do the rest! It is a great way to get some publicity and help beautify the community. See the poster below for more information or contact me at [email protected].

Hey Berlin! Half of the campground is open as of this afternoon (sites 1 through 10). Their are still sites that are closed because they are too soggy. We ask that people respect the barriers that are put up. Enjoy the hot weekend!

Hey Berlin. Unfortunately, we have to close the campground the rest of the week and weekend. Our current plan is to reopen on Monday July 8th. With all the rain today and expected rain on Friday, the campground is flooding. If the weather changes and we dry out, we will open up early! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Berlin! All this rain has caused there to be too much standing water in the campground making it unsafe to get to the sites. For the time being, the campground is currently closed. We are hoping that sunny days and warm winds will dry everything up by Friday afternoon. As soon as it is dry and safe enough, we will reopen. Stay posted for updates!

Hey Berlin! Council voted yesterday, November 14th to redistribute the funds in the recreation budget to other portions of the City. This includes the indoor pool as well as summer recreation programs. The indoor pool is the Berlin Area School District's pool. We just rented it for short periods of time. The last day for city funded programs at the indoor pool is December 20th.
