The Southern New Jersey Regional Early Intervention Collaborative (SNJREIC) is one of four non-profit agencies funded by the Department of Health

(DOH) to support early intervention services in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties. 📖 Sharing books with your child is about a lot more than reading the words on the page. It's about connecting with your child, having fun and building their language during back-and-forth interactions. When you turn book reading into a conversation, you actively involve your child by encouraging them to share their interests and ideas. Being actively involved and taking turns in the conversation helps build your child's language, which lays the foundation for learning to read and write. It also creates a special time for you two to connect. 💕

💕A calm adult can help calm a child’s nervous system.
😔A shamed child learns shame.
🫶A supported child learns safety.
➡️Remember, behavior is communication.
🌟Children do well when they can — and when they feel safe, connected, and understood.

✨️ We were rockin' today at our EI Week celebration at We Rock the Spectrum - Audubon! After playing, imagining, jumping, rolling, swinging, and laughing, each family was able to take a framed family picture home to capture their love along with board books and goodies. Bubble popping was a must, too! 🫧
🌟 Thanks to Kaleidoscope-ABA for joining us with valuable resources for our families and Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative for always supporting our families and events!

🤸🏾‍♀️We are tumbling, rolling and swinging through EI Week! We got out of the heat and continued the fun at We Rock The Spectrum - Gloucester Co today! Families were connecting with their children and eachother and many smiles and laughs were shared. The only tears were from the little ones when playtime was over!
🫶 Sending more appreciation to Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative for the helping hands and support!
