moving east at 40 mph.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Barre, Montpelier, Calais, Plainfield, Orange, Bristol, Waterbury
Village, Websterville, East Montpelier, Lincoln, Waitsfield,
Berlin, Fayston, Worcester, Middlesex, Barre Town, Northfield
Village, Washington, Warren, and Duxbury.
This includes Interstate 89 between mile markers 38 and 65.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
