THIS Wednesday, June 3rd from 5–7 PM, we’re taking over The Cardinal Bar for our Chamber Mixer at The Cardinal Bar … … and yes, this is your official, fully sanctioned excuse to not cook dinner. 😄

Seriously. Close the fridge. Walk away.

👉 Treat yourself to a hot dog… you’ve earned it 🌭
👉 Add a beverage… because obviously 🍻

These nights are my favorite because you show up thinking “I should probably network…” and then next thing you know you’re laughing, catching up, meeting someone new, and completely forgetting that’s what you came for. It just feels like a bunch of friends in a room… because it is. 💛

If you can, please hit the RSVP link in the event so we know to save you a seat. Bring a friend, bring a coworker, bring that person you keep saying you need to catch up with. Toss some business cards in your pocket… or don’t. You’ll be fine either way. 😉

🐴💛✨ Member Spotlight: Good Luck Stable ✨💛🐴

If you’ve been thinking you need a little fresh air, a little sunshine, and maybe a break from… everything… this is your sign. 😄🌿

Tucked away in the hills of Hedgesville, Good Luck Stable has been part of the Morgan County community for 10 years, and it’s one of those places that just feels good the second you get there. Horses, open space, that quiet kind of peace you don’t realize you needed until you have it. 💛

They offer guided trail rides and lessons for all levels, so whether you’ve never been on a horse before or you’ve been riding for years, they’ll meet you right where you are. No pressure, no stress… just a really good experience.

But the more important part, have you heard? They now have Highland cows. No, this is not a drill. Yes, really.

If you don't know what Highland cows are, they're basically the fluffiest, shaggiest, teenage emo cows you’ve ever seen… those long bangs covering their eyes like they’re going through a phase, and somehow it just makes them even cuter. Look at those FACES!!! 😍

And it doesn’t stop there…
There are goats, pigs, alpacas, peacocks… all kinds of personalities wandering around just living their best lives. It’s basically impossible to leave without smiling. Just make sure you schedule ahead if you want to visit, so they can make sure everything’s ready for you.

👉 And seriously, go follow Good Luck Stable. The pictures alone are worth it, and I promise your day will be better for it, it was practically impossible for me to choose just a few for this post. 😄

💛✨ Member Spotlight: Mountain State Chiropractic Center ✨💛

Spring has officially arrived… which means sunshine, fresh air, and all of those “I’ll just do a little yard work” projects that somehow turn into a lot of yard work. 😄🌱 And then… the aches and pains show up.

That’s where Mountain State Chiropractic Center comes in. 💛

Help us congratulate Dr. Leslie Hiles and her team on 6 years of keeping Morgan County moving! 🎉 Over the years, Dr. Leslie has built her practice around restoring health and empowering lives through consistent, family-focused chiropractic care. It’s not just about feeling better for the moment, it’s about helping people live fully… physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually, through care that supports the whole body.

And speaking from experience… there is just nothing quite like that moment when everything is back where it belongs and you walk out feeling about a foot taller than when you walked in. 😉 (Results may vary in height, unfortunately.)

So whether you overdid it in the garden, tackled one too many spring projects, or just want to feel your best heading into the warmer months… this is your sign.

What a fantastic Berkeley Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce Monthly Meeting we had today at Cacapon State Park… great food, great people, and even better conversation. 💛

Let’s start with the important part: yes, I had the shrimp salad again, and yes, it was just as good as I remembered. 😄 But truly, every single option looked amazing. In fact, the room got really quiet when the food was delivered… which is always a good sign.

We’re so grateful to Cacapon State Park for welcoming us back so graciously (and feeding us so well!).

This month’s meeting was a little different. Our Board of Directors, along with our new slate for the upcoming elections, were spread out among the tables, and we invited everyone to just… talk. And you did.

Ideas, thoughts, what you love, where we can improve, where you want to plug in and help… it was one of those meetings where the conversations really mattered. The kind that remind you why we do this in the first place.

A huge thank you to our Board for giving your time, your energy, and your ears… and to our members for showing up ready to share, connect, and be part of shaping what’s next.

And of course, we still made time for what we all love most… catching up, making connections, and those “you should meet…” moments that always seem to lead to something great.

This is what it’s all about. 💛

What a wonderful lunch at The Country Inn of Berkeley Springs with my counterparts Heather McIntyre, Executive Director of theJefferson County WV Chamber of Commerce, and Kristie Hadley, President & CEO of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce.

There are just some things that can only really be understood when you’re in the role, and it was so nice to have the time to sit down, compare notes, swap stories, and talk through everything from events and meetings to what works, what doesn’t, and all the in-between.

These kinds of conversations matter more than people probably realize. We may be in different counties, but at the heart of it, we’re all doing the same work: supporting our businesses, building our communities, and figuring it out as we go.

We’re also thrilled to have our reciprocal memberships in place, which means we’re all now members of each other’s Chambers. Stronger connections, better collaboration, and more opportunities for all of our members.

Thank you both for making the trip over! I’m already looking forward to the next one (your turn 😉).

🍽️✨ May Monthly Meeting – This Week! ✨🍽️

We love rotating our Monthly Meetings around to our amazing Berkeley Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce member restaurants, and while we were all set for the American Legion this month… life had other plans. We’re sending lots of well wishes for speedy recoveries 💛 and we’ll absolutely get them back on the schedule soon.

In the meantime, we made a quick pivot and Cacapon State Park graciously welcomed us back! Even better? It’s the same amazing menu as last time: Caprese Grilled Cheese, Greek Salad, Shrimp Salad Sandwich, Rice Bowls, Veggie & Hummus Board, Grilled Chicken BLT, or Prime Rib Steak Sandwich… all for just $16 per person, all inclusive. Go ahead and start planning now.

This month’s meeting is going to look a little different, and we’re excited about it. Our incredible Board of Directors is in strategic planning mode, and with our annual meeting coming up, they want to hear from YOU. What do you enjoy? What would you love to see more of? Pick a table with one of our Board members… they’re there to listen.

Don’t worry, we promise we won’t spend the entire time putting you on the spot 😉 there will be plenty of time for what we all love most… networking, catching up, and making those “you should meet…” connections.

💛🏥✨ Member Spotlight: Mountaineer Community Health Center ✨🏥💛

As we continue celebrating Nurses Week and recognizing the incredible work of healthcare providers in our community, today we’re shining a light on a member that truly lives what community care is all about… Mountaineer Community Health Center. 💛

Right in the heart of Paw Paw, Mountaineer has been making a difference since 1996, when a group of local citizens came together with one goal: making sure people in their community had access to quality healthcare. And all these years later, that same mission is still at the center of everything they do.

Providing quality, accessible, and comprehensive care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay isn’t just something they say… it’s something they live every single day. From primary care to behavioral health, their team is deeply committed to the well-being of their patients, many of whom are also their neighbors, friends, and family.

And that commitment shows. Mountaineer has been recognized as a Health Center Quality Leader, ranking in the top 10% of community health centers nationwide for several years running. That’s something to be proud of. 👏

What really stands out is how they meet people where they are. Offering transportation for patients who need it, expanding services, and continuing to grow in ways that make care more accessible… it’s thoughtful, it’s intentional, and it makes a real difference.

They’re also guided by a board made up of community members, and right now… they’re looking for new board members. If you’ve ever wanted to play a role in strengthening healthcare in our community, this is a meaningful way to get involved and make an impact!

So during this week of appreciation, we want to say thank you to the entire team at Mountaineer Community Health Center - to the nurses, providers, and healthcare professionals who show up every day with compassion and dedication.

💛🏥✨ Member Spotlight: WVU Medicine ✨🏥💛

As we continue recognizing Nurses Week and Hospital Week, it feels like the perfect time to shine a light on another incredible member and partner in care for our community… WVU Medicine. 💛

When you think about healthcare, it’s easy to focus on the moments you need it most. But what WVU Medicine is doing goes far beyond that. Their mission is simple and powerful - improving the health of those they serve through excellence in patient care, research, and education - and you can see that commitment in everything they do.

I had the opportunity to spend some time in Morgantown during Bridging Innovation Week, and one of the highlights was touring part of their campus and hearing about what they’re building for the future. And honestly… it was impressive.

They’re not just thinking about today’s healthcare needs, they’re investing in what comes next. Programs like their nursing training initiative, where students can complete their education at no cost by committing to work within the WVU Medicine system for three years. No student debt. Just a clear path into a meaningful career.

They’ve also created spaces that truly support those students: clinical training rooms available 24/7 for practice, a laundry facility, and even a food pantry to help address food insecurity. It’s thoughtful, it’s practical, and it shows a real understanding of what people need to succeed.

And that’s just one piece of a much bigger picture. WVU Medicine has grown into the largest health system in the state, with hospitals and specialized institutes across the region, all working together to provide comprehensive care while continuing to train and support the next generation of healthcare professionals.

But none of this happens without people. Behind every visit, every appointment, every moment of care, there is a team of dedicated professionals bringing skill, compassion, and a deep commitment to the communities they serve.

So during this week of appreciation, the Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce wants to say thank you to everyone who is part of WVU Medicine. For the care you provide today, and for the future you are helping build.
