Some moments remind us why we do this job. After responding to a medical emergency yesterday, this little guy stopped by with his parents to say thank you. Local 309 made sure he left with some toys, a few smiles, and a reminder that moments like these are truly appreciated. 💙

Blooms and Bites was a huge success! Members of Local 309 would like to express our great appreciation to all of those who carry the title of “Mom”. For everyone who showed and received flowers and donuts yesterday, it was an absolute pleasure to see your beautiful reactions, smiles and joy. Thank you for being you. Happy Mother’s Day to all!

This year Bergenfield PBA Local 309 will be representing our municipality in the 2026 Snow Bowl flag football tournament to help raise funds for the athletes participating in the 2026 Special Olympics!

Local 309 would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our local businesses, Tommy Fox’s Public House and JJ’s Cafe for supplying Thanksgiving meals to our brothers and sisters working today. We greatly appreciate it! Also we would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃

Bergenfield PBA 309 to honor Detective Kenneth Otto.

Chief Rabboh will be relaxing the facial hair policy for members of the department who wish to participate. Chief Rabboh believes this is a good cause and wishes to invite members of the community and other Bergen County Police Departments to join in.

All members of the Police Department who are participating have agreed to donate $50.00 each. All proceeds will go to Pancreatic Cancer in honor of our brother Detective Kenneth Otto. Detective Otto died in 2005 from Pancreatic Cancer.

According to the original organizers, “The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.”
