Take Action! Urge New York legislators to pass a moratorium on environmentally harmful mega data centers. Join with Food & Water Watch an other allies to pass the Senate and Assembly bills before the session ends on June 4th! These data centers, serving the AI and cryptocurrency industries, are being planned--and resisted--throughout the nation and our state. Computers in these huge data centers use enormous amounts of electricity and water to cool the computers, causing negative environmental impacts, as well as raising electricity costs. A three year moratorium will allow us to study their impacts, enabling New Yorkers to "look before we leap"!

Ron Placone's Anti-Fascist Pasta Night

Join local NYC area Greens at Ron Placone's comedy show on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM. Ron Placone is a political comedian and film maker who very publicly switched his registration to Green Party a few years ago. He has been the headliner at a few GPUS fundraisers and invites local Greens to table at his events. Join GPNY co-chair Gloria Mattera and others at this event, and let her know you are coming so we can plan for the evening.

Nassau County Green Party Hybrid Meeting (In-Person and Zoom) Program: Healthcare Conspiracy/Thursday, February 19, 7:00 PM

Dear Green Party Members and Friends,

The next meeting of the Green Party of Nassau County will be devoted to the New York Health Act. The NYHA is an active bill in the NYS Legislature that will bring single payer health care to our state. The meeting will feature the screening of a short film: HEALTHCARE CONSPIRACY; A 22-minute mockumentary about two intrepid reporters blowing the lid off a wild conspiracy involving multiple industries and governments siphoning billions of dollars from the public who are suffering both physically and financially … that everyone already knows about: the healthcare industry. The film will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Speakers/Panelists include: Gloria Mattera, Co-Chair of Green Party of New York, and Daniel Lugassy, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician.

This meeting, featuring the film and discussion, is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, 7:00 PM. The meeting will be a hybrid meeting-- in-person at the Freeport Memorial Library, and on Zoom.
