Active Senior Network - City of Berea Our goal is to provide senior citizens with activities and programs that will increase their daily activity and social levels.

Welcome to the new Active Senior Network Page. We are adding more "Active" programs and events such as open court basketball, woodworking and a hot topic Speaker Series as well as opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community. Watch for these new offerings starting January 2018!!

The Active Senior Network toured the International Women’s Air & Space Museum on Thursday. Located at Burke Lakefront Airport, the museum traces the history of women in flight from Katherine Wright, sister of Wilbur & Orville, to the Artemis II astronauts.

We had so much fun hosting a painting class for the members of the Active Senior Network! From colorful creations to lots of laughs and good conversations, it was an afternoon filled with creativity, connection and fun!!!! Everyone brought their own unique style to the canvas, and the results were beautiful!

A cloudy sky and light rain didn’t stop the fun at Coe Lake this morning! Our seniors showed up ready to fish, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. Just goes to show, great memories can be made in any weather!

What a fantastic night at the Berea Senior Social Club event at the VFW!

With nearly 60 people in attendance, the room was full of energy, laughter, and great company. From dancing the night away to enjoying some delicious food, there was something for everyone. And let’s not forget the games—plenty of friendly competition and lots of smiles all around!

It’s nights like these that remind us how special our community is. Already looking forward to the next get-together! Next gathering will be May, keep an eye out for the exact date in the Berean Newsletter!
