Last Friday, BACN had our annual volunteer appreciation lunch to celebrate the individuals who open our doors each day.

Greeting neighbors, connecting them to resources, unloading the trucks, stocking our pantry, sorting and bringing out clothing, and so much more happens because volunteers give their time each day to open our doors.

Our Fall Food Drive is almost here! But we still have a few volunteer spots open. If you'd like to help out in your community, this is a great opportunity to make a difference for neighbors in need.

Volunteers work in pairs for 2-hour shifts to greet store customers and to collect food items.

We're especially in need of volunteers to give us a hand on Saturday, October 3.

To learn more or sign up for a shift, send a note to [email protected].

Thanks to the generosity of this community, we exceeded our Summer Match goal! Funds raised through this challenge grant make up more than a third of our annual budget and keep our neighbors warm, clothed, and fed through all of the seasons. We're especially grateful to the Meek and Schoonmaker families, for inspiring the community to step up in a big way. And a warm thank you to the John L. Mulvaney Foundation whose generosity as our first summer match funder continues to inspire our community today
