Join our Holiday Canning Workshop on Tuesday, November 18th, 6:00-8:00 PM, $15 per person. We will be making Cranberry Marmalade using the water bath method and exploring flavored vinegars. Project Books

Project books highlight community service, education, or leadership projects during the EHC program year (July 1-June 30).
•
Find inspiration and ideas – summaries from project books recognized at the June 2025 state meeting are on the website.
•
Project books are due to the Extension Office by October 24th so we can take them to District Rally.

Improving Quality of Life Since 1912
Education has been a foundation of Extension Homemakers’ programs for more than 100 years and it remains an important part of the EHC mission. Extension specialists provide the latest information. Club members help County Extension Agents share these lessons to improve quality of life for Arkansans. The 2026 featured lessons will be:

January – Living a Healthier Life Through the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
•
February – Smart Phone Smarts: A Guide to Healthier Scrolling Habits.
•
March – Stay Safe Food, Fundraisers, Potlucks, and Picnics.
•
April – Consumer Protection: How to Avoid the Latest Scams.

Christmas Cookie Exchange
Vaughn EHC is conducting a county-wide cookie exchange on
December 6 from 1:00 – 3:00pm at the Bella Vista Church of Christ! Each exchange participant is to bring 3 dozen cookies. Beverages will be provided. It is sure to be a great time! Be sure to put it on your calendar!
