I need to explain our campaign slogan "Bring Principle Back".
The Arkansas State Motto: Regnat populus
I have found that our state government has forgotten why it exists. Every election cycle we see all the TV adds, the Billboards, the social posts with promises and grand statements like 'Proven Conservative Leadership', The intention is to make us comfortable, that we are in good hands, that our interests are being taken care of.
From the day after the election, until the next cycle starts, we hear and see nothing. It would be interesting to see how many folks in Bentonville, Bella Vista & Centerton even know the name of their State representatives let alone follow what these folks are doing in our name.
It feels to me we are forgotten, and party politics take over. In 25 years, not once has anyone from the state congress reached out to me, asked my opinion. What I do see are officials who are elected to serve me, making decisions that affect my life without any understanding of what is important to me, my family and even my community. I wonder if our representatives know what the Arkansas State Moto means.
Once elected, I will work tirelessly to bring your point of view, what it's important to you, to be the filter for every decision that is made in Little Rock, starting with why the decision is being made in Little Rock, and not in Benton County.
