Thank you to all of the organizations, churches, and government leaders who attended the first NWA Regional COAD meeting! What is a COAD? It stands for Community Organizations Active in Disaster. During the May 2024 tornado outbreak, Benton County residents saw many of the people in this room helping. Whether it was chainsaws, tarps, or a warm meal, help was everywhere, but uncoordinated. Together, we are pooling resources and learning how to improve our response when disaster strikes again.

The NWA Regional COAD covers Madison, Washington, Carroll, and Benton Counties. If you are part of an organization that wants to learn more about this partnership, please reach out to [email protected]

Our employees can become CPR-certified for 2 years and learn valuable life skills that extend beyond our walls.
