I am officially announcing the closing of Jasmines Legacy Wildlife Rehabilitation due to a recent and very serious health diagnosis.

At this time, I am unable to work or do much of anything for myself without assistance.

The rescue will be closed until further notice and I will not be taking in any animals from this point on.

I am still able to assist in other ways, and am happy to continue answering questions and helping you locate other resources for help with wildlife.

And I will continue to post information, educational posts, etc, here as often as I am able.

Thank you to all of my friends and followers here. I sincerely appreciate your continued support.

I hope to be able to reopen by next spring, but for now there are no guarantees.

Hi friends!! Happy $2 Tuesday! We are back up and running with a brand new air conditioner!!! 🎉🎉🎉 But Oscar and Rocket still need food!! Kibble, fruits and veggies and snacks! Hello friends!!

While we are still technically closed / on intake hold, our poor little ac is still chugging away, doing its best, and we've not had to vacate with the animals, YET.

Meanwhile, Oscar and Rocket are still in our care, and we could really use some help with food for them.

Below are the 2 types of dog kibble we give them, and we also need fresh produce and snacks if anyone is able to help.

We regretfully must close our doors at this time in case we need to pack up animals and leave our residence and rescue.

Our one and only air conditioner is failing as I type, and temperatures have been in the high 90s with indexes well exceeding 100 degrees during the day.

We have rescue animals and personal pets that will not survive in those temperatures, and we have NO funds whatsoever to replace the air conditioner.

We must put their safety and wellbeing above all else.

Update!

We have Nyla.

And it's so much worse in person... 😭😭😭

She is skin and bones skinny! Severe hair loss from flea dermatitis, open sores from scratching...one on her hind leg filled with pus and infection. 😞

We have an appointment with the vet on Thursday. And we could REALLY use your help with her initial vet visit. ❤️🙏🙏
