This is the official page of the City of Benton, Parks and Recreation Department. This page is intended to serve as a gateway for communication in bridging the gap between the community and the Parks and Recreation Department. The Parks Department page was created to facilitate the exchange of information with the public at

large. To promote such exchange, the city encourages and welcomes comments from the general public about issues related to our park system and programs. With that said, however, the department reserves the right to regulate the content of, and where necessary delete completely, any objectionable entry that appears on its page. The department is responsible for monitoring all postings to its page and may take appropriate action whenever necessary, and at its sole discretion, to protect other page visitors from inappropriate or otherwise harmful information and links. 🥎 What a season! 🥎

As our Youth Spring Softball season comes to a close, we want to thank all of our players, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters for making it such a memorable year. From learning new skills and building friendships to competing on the field, it was a great season from start to finish.

Congratulations to all of our teams on a fantastic season, and a special congratulations to those who placed in the Top 3 of league play and the Top 3 in district competition! Your hard work and dedication paid off, and we are proud of your accomplishments.

Thank you for being part of Benton Parks & Recreation. Enjoy some of our favorite moments from the season, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the fields soon! 💙🥎

Calling all future champions ages 3–5! Join us for a fun-filled 4-week program designed to introduce young children to movement, coordination, teamwork, and the joy of being active.

📅 Tuesdays Only: July 7–28
⏰ Class Times: 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, or 10:00 AM
📍 Benton High School Athletic Complex

We would like to inform you that the River Center Pool is temporarily closed until further notice due to a fecal-related incident.

The health and safety of our members and guests are our highest priorities. Our staff is following all required cleaning, sanitization, and water treatment procedures to ensure the facility is safe before reopening.

Whether your child is brand new to the sport or ready for competitive play, we have an opportunity for them this season!

✅ Recreational League (1st–10th Grade)
✅ Competitive League (4th–7th Grade)
✅ Volleyball Clinics led by the Henderson State University Volleyball Team

Our volleyball programs focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun while learning the game.

Join Benton Parks & Recreation for our Back to School Glow Run & Bash on Saturday, August 15th at the River Center! Bring the whole family for an evening of glow accessories, bounce houses, a climbing wall, music, and a fun run benefiting Bright Futures Benton!

📝 Registration: June 12 – August 7
👕 Shirt Deadline: Register by July 26th to guarantee your event shirt!
👶 Strollers Welcome: Babies and little ones in strollers are welcome to participate with their families!

From delicious food and local vendors to crafts, trivia, music, dancing, and learning opportunities, it was a day filled with community, culture, and connection. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, support local businesses, and help make this event so special.
