📅 Training Dates:
• June 22–25 (Monday–Thursday)
• June 29–July 2 (Monday–Thursday)

📍 Location:
Pine Haven Elementary School in Bauxite

⏰ Training activities will occur throughout the day and conclude at approximately 5:00 p.m. each day.

Residents in and around the area can expect to see an increased presence of first responders and may hear sounds associated with realistic emergency training, including:

📬⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️📬
The Saline County Sheriff's Office wants to remind our community to be vigilant when it comes to scams and mail fraud.

🚨 We have received reports of scammers contacting individuals and falsely claiming they have a warrant for their arrest, missed jury duty, or owe money to avoid legal action.

Please remember:
❌ Law enforcement will NEVER demand payment over the phone to avoid arrest.
❌ Law enforcement will NEVER instruct you to mail cash, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or other valuables.
❌ Law enforcement will NEVER ask you to send photos of cash, gift cards, bank accounts, or other personal financial information.
❌ Legitimate warrants are not resolved by mailing money.

Scammers often use fear and urgency to pressure victims into acting quickly. If someone claims you have a warrant and demands payment, hang up immediately and contact your local law enforcement agency directly using a verified phone number.

💡 Protect Yourself:
✔️ Never mail cash to anyone you do not personally know and trust.
✔️ Do not send pictures of money, gift cards, or financial documents.
✔️ Verify any claims by contacting the agency directly.
✔️ Talk to a trusted family member or friend before sending money.

If you believe you have been targeted by a scam or mail fraud scheme, contact the Saline County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 501-303-5648.

Please share this post to help protect your family, friends, and neighbors from becoming victims.

🚗💥 AVOID THE CONSEQUENCES — BUCKLE UP 💥🚗

Wearing your seat belt takes only seconds, but it could save your life in a crash.

Seat belts help keep you safe and secure inside your vehicle. Without one, you are at a much greater risk of being ejected during a crash — which is often deadly.

⚠️ Wearing your seat belt incorrectly can also be dangerous.
✔️ The shoulder strap should go across your chest and shoulder — not under your arm or behind your back.
✔️ The lap belt should fit low across your hips, not your stomach.

Air bags are designed to work WITH seat belts — not replace them. Without a seat belt, the force of an air bag can cause serious injury or even death.

📊 Traffic crashes continue to claim thousands of lives each year, many involving unrestrained occupants. Buckling up remains one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect yourself and your family.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to make seat belt safety a habit every trip, every time.

🚨 SEAT BELTS SAVE LIVES 🚨

From May 18–31, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office will participate in the statewide Click It or Ticket enforcement campaign aimed at increasing seat belt use and reducing traffic fatalities.

The numbers are a powerful reminder of why this campaign matters:

📊 In 2024, 9,758 passenger vehicle occupants killed in crashes were not wearing seat belts.
📊 On average, every 54 minutes, someone not wearing a seat belt dies in a traffic crash.
📊 More unrestrained occupants were killed at night than during the day.
📊 Among adults ages 18–34 killed in crashes, 59% were completely unrestrained.
📊 In nighttime crashes, 56% of those killed were not buckled up.

A seat belt is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect yourself during a crash. Deputies across Saline County will be working to encourage safe driving habits and increase compliance with seat belt laws.

✅ Buckle up every ride
✅ Make sure passengers are restrained
✅ Help keep our roads safe for everyone
