On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the lives taken too soon and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders and everyday Americans who answered the call.

The Saline Crossing Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution invites our community to gather at 9:11 a.m. today at the Saline County Courthouse Gazebo for a time of remembrance and reflection.

Twenty-five years later, we will never forget. 🇺🇸

The Saline County Treasurer's Office will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

As we celebrate 250 years of American freedom, we wish everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July with family and friends.

Our office will reopen Monday, July 6.

🎉 TOGETHER WE DID IT! 🎉

In 2018, Saline County voters approved a 3/8 cent sales tax to build the Saline County Career Technical Campus. That $43 million bond was projected to be paid off in 2037…

🔥 But in 2025, it’s already PAID IN FULL — 12 YEARS EARLY! That means the 3/8 cent sales tax officially comes to an end on October 1, 2025. ✅

Since opening in 2021, the Arkansas State University Three Rivers Saline County CTE Center has hosted over 500 tours and welcomed over 2,000 students, many earning certifications in welding, medical professions, construction, manufacturing, HVAC, automotive, and more. 🙌

This week the Arkansas Treasurer’s Association held our fall conference in Hot Springs. We had three days full of speakers, presentations, and discussions on new laws and procedures that will effect our offices across the state. However, today we closed with a special session led by Saline County’s very own Communications Director Trevor Villines and Benton County, Arkansas Government’s Communications Director Melody Kwok. Together they gave an amazing presentation on social media and its place in County Government (and so much more, I wish I could repeat it all). So glad they were able to come share their insights on media strategies on how to build stronger relationships and interactions with our communities.
