She has served our county as the 3rd District commissioner, which covers much of Benton Harbor, since 2005. Before serving us as a county commissioner, she worked as a lead auditor at the Robert Bosch Corp. Marletta has also been involved in our community through several area nonprofit agencies, including one she started to help at-risk women lead productive lives. She also volunteers at local hom

eless shelters, helps to feed the hungry and mentors our youth as a life coach. Marletta is very involved at the Abundant Life Evangelical Church in Benton Harbor. Marletta is running for state representative because she wants to give back even more to our community. She believes that government and policy should be transparent, and it should not only improve life for us, but for our future generations. Marletta believes that the people should always be government’s top priority. She’ll focus on education and economic development and work to meet the needs of a diverse district. Marletta will build sustainability for the future, so that our kids can go to great schools and start promising careers right here in our community. She knows we have to invest in our young people today, so that they can build a greater Michigan in the future.
