• Messages that state or imply endorsement by the City of Benson for any non-city events

• Criticism of elected officials, coworkers, disagreements on policies and procedures, proprietary, confidential or sensitive information about the City, coworkers, patrons, partner agencies/affiliates, members of the public or third party vendors

Saturday’s Butterfield Parade route will be slightly altered due to services taking place at the Catholic Church on 5th & Gila.

The route will turn onto San Pedro Street to avoid the area.

The 26th Annual Benson Butterfield Rodeo is here!

Enjoy a two-day pro rodeo sanctioned by the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association, featuring classic events like saddle bronc, ba****ck, bull riding, roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing, proudly organized by an all-women committee!

Tickets: Adults $15, Kids 7-12 $5, 6 & under free. Buy online for a discount at BensonButterfieldRodeo.com or at the gate.

Kids’ events: Saturday at 2:30 PM, Sunday at 12:00 PM. Pro rodeo performances both days- 5:00 PM on Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday. Rodeo Royalty Coronation on Sunday before the performance.

Vendors, food, crafts, and western merchandise coordinated by Cochise County Vendor Bazaar.

RTIC Cooler Raffle—tickets available at the event, winner drawn Sunday.

Mark your calendars for November 7, 2026—it’s going to be a full day of fun and community support with events happening at both the San Pedro Golf Course and Lions Park!

There were technical issues with the posting of the 2nd livestream for the Special Council Meeting last night and we recognize that it is not showing on our feed. We apologize for the inconvenience and lack of video for the remainder of the meeting. After the executive session, council removed Item #6 and did not take any action. The meeting then adjourned. 🚫 Field Closure Notice 🚫
Due to wet conditions and significant pooling water, all fields at Lions Park are temporarily closed. For everyone’s safety and to prevent damage to the turf, we ask that the community please stay off the fields.
We will provide an update as soon as fields are reopened.
