Have you stopped by the Mary Duncan Public Library (319 S. Elm Street) lately? After the big move — lots of books, furniture, shelving, etc. — the library is now fully functional!

📚 All books are available to check out and you can now place holds again. The computers and printers are also now available to use! PLUS it's National Library Card Sign-up Month — the perfect time to stop by and get a card if you don't have one already!

It was all about back to school this morning at the library. Miss South Johnston, Carson Blackman read back to school themed books and the kids made a classic back to school craft: beaded keychains! How cool!

🐷🥞 Here's a fun one! There was a very special guest for this morning's Story Time at the Mary Duncan Public Library (8-10-26)!

That's Mini Pearl! She visited the library to hear her favorite story — "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" — and hang out with the kids! Her owner, Mayley Dunn, was the morning's guest reader!

In addition to Mini Pearl, there were also mini pancakes for the occasion! Check it out!
