In addition to the cleanup from recent severe storm damage, the Bensenville Public Works Department will perform a special Branch & Brush Pick-up-Due to damage from the severe storm starting next week on Monday 6/15/26. Please follow the regular Branch and Brush pick-up guidelines and have your brush collected on the curbside by 7am on Monday 6/15. The US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois is forecasting a threat for strong tornadoes across northern Illinois this afternoon between 4 and 8 PM. There is a threat for strong (EF-2+) tornadoes across northern Illinois this afternoon between 4 and 8 PM. The highest threat will be in the dark red shaded area. This area has shifted farther south than previously forecast. Take tornado warnings seriously, and have multiple ways to get warning information today.

Everyone’s favorite free, family-friendly outdoor concert series returns to Bensenville on Wednesdays, June 10 through August 19, 2026. The weekly classic car cruise night will start at 6pm along Green & Center Streets, then the band starts playing at 7:30pm until 9:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

On June 5, the Edge Ice Arena celebrated the 26th Annual Spring Ice Show & America's 250th. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of families, friends, & community members who came together to witness the dazzling performances of skaters from the Village’s Learn to Skate & Competitive Skating programs.
