Last week, Snyder’s NJHS sponsored a service project from “The Giving Tree,” which benefits children who are food insecure in our surrounding communities. Our NJHS members colored, wrote letters, and created goodie bags for after school and summer programs in the greater Philadelphia area.

Snyder Middle School just finished competing at the 2026 Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science held at Pennsylvania State University. Our students presented science and engineering projects that they have been working on since October and acted as technicians during the event. Our participants:

This morning, our 7th graders enjoyed a wonderful day at Neshaminy State Park filled with team-building activities, a picnic lunch, and a scenic walk through the woods along the Delaware River.

Experiences like these are a great reminder that learning and community-building can happen far beyond the classroom walls.

A special thank you to Mrs. Phillips and Mr. Swaim for organizing this memorable opportunity for our students and staff. Everyone had a fantastic time taking the classroom outside! 🌳💙🤍🦉
