Our 6th grade general music students wrapped up Hexter 6 with an amazing music showcase! It was wonderful to see their hard work and growth come to life in front of family and friends.

We wrapped up an amazing school year with a celebration assembly recognizing recent events, spring sports, Power of the Paw, and our Hexter 6 Tuffy Ticket winners! A big thank you to Bennington South Middle School PTO for helping us celebrate students who demonstrated Badger Behavior with prizes and support.
We also took time to recognize our incredible PTO officers for all they’ve done this year. We are so grateful and will truly miss those who are moving on!
To top it all off, we held our final Staff vs. Student competition with a relay race! It was a VERY close finish, but the staff managed to inch out the win and claim the championship title for the 2025–2026 school year!

As a reminder, tomorrow is an early dismissal as we wrap up the final day of the school year!

Students will be cleaning out their lockers tomorrow and Wednesday, and locker checkout will be Thursday.
Our lost and found table is also quite full! Please have your student grab anything that belongs to them by Friday. After that, items will be donated.
Hopefully lots of things will be making their way home!

On Friday, our Play Production 2 class performed their production of The Day the Internet Died for peers and family members. The students did an outstanding job showcasing strong stage presence, emotion, and projection throughout the performance. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! What a fantastic Fine Arts Night at BSMS!
Our Art Show was filled with creativity from our talented 6th–8th grade students, and we were excited to unveil the student-painted mural featuring individual pieces created during our PTO Sip and Paint event back in March.
Our Drama Club added to the evening with an entertaining performances from "Scenes from the Food Court", showcasing great expression and stage presence.
Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands, along with jazz band and marimba ensembles, delivered outstanding spring concert performances, highlighting their growth and hard work this year.
To top it all off, families enjoyed dinner from The Corn Dog Company food truck!thank you Bennington South Middle School PTO for organizing such a great addition to the evening!

Science Club was amazing this year, and our final activity — the Egg Drop Challenge — was an absolute blast! 🥚🚀

Our students did an incredible job designing creative ways to protect their eggs, and we are proud to say that many eggs survived the drop! Their teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity were on full display all year long.

We can’t wait for all the adventures and discoveries that next year will bring! 🔬✨
