We are incredibly grateful to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs restaurant in Laurinburg for awarding us a $22,854 grant to ensure our first responders have the necessary equipment to save lives! Having the proper tools is crucial to the safety of our first responders and community. With these funds, we purchased 5” supply hose, 1 3/4” attack hose, and nozzles, allowing us to significantly enhance fire suppression operations.

Brightsville Fire Department is pleased to announce that our department was awarded grant funding through FY 2022 FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. FEMA awards grants on a competitive basis to the applicants that best address the program's priorities and provide the most compelling justification.

We are receiving $35,086 in federal funding with a 5% local match. This will support our operational needs, specifically, the purchase of new thermal imaging cameras.

Since 2001, AFG has helped firefighters and other first responders obtain critically needed equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, training and other resources necessary for protecting the public and emergency personnel from fire and related hazards.
