Joe Henderson Elementary School A TK-5 Elementary school in the Benicia Unified School District. Joe Henderson began his career in education as an eighth grade teacher. When Mr. Mr.

His favorite subject to teach was mathematics. Henderson first started teaching, he was only four years older than his students. Later, he became a principal and also had to keep the busses running and the furnaces fixed. He organized a large band to play in local parades. Henderson eventually became the superintendent of elementary schools.

Yearbook sales are now open for the 2026/27 school year! Don't miss out on this one of a kind memory. Once the deadline has passed, we will not be selling any more.

🧡From now until December 19 you can purchase a yearbook for $20. After that the price increases to $25 until the final deadline on April 4.

🖤5th Grade Families, there is also an opportunity for you to purchase a special yearbook dedication to recognize your special Hound. The cost of each dedication is $25 and the deadline to order is April 4.

Ordering is simple and done online at yearbookordercenter.com using the school code of 21768

Hey Hounds!

We invite all members of our JHE parent community to our monthly Parent Teacher Group meeting tomorrow night at 6:00pm. Our PTG does SO much for our school and they always need more input and support. Attending our monthly meetings is a great way to get involved, lend a hand, and give your input.

Our meetings typically run about an hour long and FREE childcare is provided! We hop to see you there!
