Today we’re recognizing one of our trainees, Dispatcher 33, for his outstanding work during a recent robbery call.

Training in emergency communications is anything but simple. No two days are ever the same. Trainees learn to answer 911 calls, prioritize emergencies, dispatch multiple police, fire, and EMS units over the radio, manage non-emergency calls simultaneously, and make critical decisions under pressure—all while remaining calm and focused.

These skills played an integral role in the successful handling of a robbery incident. Roy’s dedication to learning, ability to stay composed under pressure, and commitment to serving our community are exactly what it takes to succeed in this profession.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H - Gettysburg Station, is investigating a fraud and subsequent theft incident.

On 05/08/2026, the victim was contacted via a blocked phone number by a suspect posing as an employee of the Patriot Credit Union located in Waynesboro, Franklin County.

The suspect had the victim's bank account information prior to the call and coerced the victim into providing a debit card.

The suspect traveled to the victim's home in Liberty Township, Adams County, and obtained a debit card.

He then proceeded to an ATM located in a Target in Hanover, York County.

The pictured suspect withdrew $508 at this location but the total loss for the victim was $2,224.

He was operating a black BMW displaying an unknown Virginia registration.

The Pennsylvania State Police – Gettysburg is investigating a burglary that occurred at the Aspers Minimart, 2210 Carlisle Road, Menallen Township, 6/1/26, at 0001 hours. The pictured suspect entered the store and stole cash from the premise.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H - Gettysburg Station, is investigating a burglary that occurred at To***co Hut on York Road in Gettysburg, Straban Township, Adams County.

On 04/25/2026 at 0406 hours, the pictured unidentified suspect used a metal bar to break a front window, enter the store, and steal approximately 40 to 50 packs of Lemmon, Opia, and Poppi brand high potency Kratom tablets with a total loss of approximately $6740.00.

The suspect fled out of the broken window.
