Good morning! Here's where the "action" in Central Oregon Civic Action Project begins. Take the 5-minute poll on AI in our communities here: cocap.us/ai [link in bio] More info below.

Most public input processes are only as representative as the barriers people face.
COCAP is built to change that. We select residents randomly across geography, income, age, and political background—and actively remove the obstacles that keep people from having meaningful voices.

This fall, we’ll bring a representative group of Central Oregonians together to deliberate on how generative AI is shaping our communities. But that work starts with broad input first.

COCAP is bringing Central Oregonians together online, in face-to-face small groups, and in a deliberative solution assembly to discuss how AI is shaping our communities and how we can build approaches to AI that benefit everyone.
