Good afternoon shredders .
Being as we have now had our 1st snowfall of the 26/27 shred season ( at top of moon mtn elevation) I thought it would come on here and explain some changes to High Desert Rippers .
I started this page back in 2012 solo after buying my 1st snowmobile ( 1990 Polaris SKS 500 ) as I wanted to meet other snowmobilers .
A few years later and a much better sled in my possession , I met Adam Lochmann who had just moved here from Wisconsin .
We hit it off and started shredding together .
When I found out he was guiding for Central Oregon Adventures I had an epiphany.
Why not have Adam be a administrator for High Desert Rippers and then he can do real time trail / snow conditions since he is on hill all day .
Viola .... the page was complete and we started to create the structure you see here today .
Well sadly , Adam , Kaylin and Lucey all moved back to Wisconsin this summer .
I had grappled with shutting this page down over the summer as I really didnt want the responsibility of doing it all myself . Being that Adam and I are cut from two different pieces of cloth , having him as the right hand man meant we covered all facets of people and views .
It was a great marriage and a still a great friendship .
One of my closest friends to this day .
Well , Ive rambled long enough and now you all have the pertinent info of what is happening behind the scene at HDR.
This year will be a trial run to see if I want to carry on or not .
So , I ask you all .
When your riding and what not , please share your findings such as trail conditions , parking lot conditions , road hazards , etc with me and if possible please send photos so I can attach them and post them to the page for others to gather the info.
Cheers
Jason Lilly
