The Bend Chamber office will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

On this day, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice made possible the communities, businesses, and way of life we are fortunate to enjoy here in Central Oregon.

We are grateful for all who have served, and for the military families in our community who carry that service with them every day.

We will be back in the office on Tuesday, May 26. Wishing our members and neighbors a meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

One hundred years. One unforgettable evening. One incredible community.

We are still glowing from our Centennial Celebration at the High Desert Museum, and it simply would not have been possible without all of you.

Thank you to every member, guest, and supporter who showed up to raise a glass and honor a century of connection, collaboration, and commerce in Bend. Your presence made the evening truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to our supporting partners who brought the night to life: High Desert Museum, for opening your stunning space and sharing in this milestone with us. Bleu Bite Catering, for the exceptional hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails that kept the evening going strong. Audio Visions Plus Inc., for flawless sound and production that set the perfect tone all night long. A special thanks to Deschutes Brewery for crafting a Centennial IPA made just for this moment.

One hundred years ago, a group of Bend business leaders came together with a shared belief: that this community was worth investing in, advocating for, and building together. On May 26, 1926, the Bend Chamber was born.

This week, the Bend City Council formally proclaimed 2026 the Centennial Year of the Bend Chamber, and we are deeply honored by that recognition.

From supporting the timber industry in our earliest days, to championing sustainable forestry practices in 1937, to helping guide our region through an economic transformation into the thriving hub of tourism, healthcare, technology, and outdoor recreation it is today, the Chamber has never stopped showing up for Bend.

None of it would be possible without you. Our more than 1,600 member businesses, our program participants, our volunteers, our staff across generations, and the community leaders who have sat at the table with us year after year. You are the Chamber.

Here is to 100 years of Bend. And to the next 100 together.

One hundred years of connection, collaboration, and commerce in Bend. We are celebrating all of it this Thursday and we want you there.
