Paint the Deschutes Paint the Deschutes is a community service project put on by the students of Central Oregon Community College and Oregon State University Cascades.

Paint the Deschutes is a community service project put on by the students of Central Oregon Community College and Oregon State University Cascades Campus. The date of the 4th annual event is May 31st or June 1st, depending on the weather. With the aid of local businesses and the time and effort of college student volunteers, we hope to make Paint the Deschutes a continued success.

Attention PTD Volunteers:

Paint the Deschutes WILL NOT be happening this year, 2015. Juniper Hall will be transitioning into the new COCC Residence Hall in the next few months. The Housing Staff is focusing on the transition and will not be planning the volunteer event.

Thank you again for all of those who have helped make Paint the Deschutes a success these last five years. Be sure to keep an eye and ear out for future plans of PTD!

Plans for tomorrow:

8:00am - Check-in at front table by house, get free T-shirt, eat breakfast and coffee
8:30am - Start laying down tarps and painting the PTD house!
12:00pm - Lunch break, raffle some prizes off
2:00pm - Snack break (if needed)
4:00-5:00pm - Clean-up, raffle prizes off

There will be plenty of water and food provided throughout the day, as well as sunscreen! It should be 80 degrees tomorrow, so dress appropriate for the weather :)

COUNTDOWN to PTD: 1 Day!! :)

Paint the Deschutes is TOMORROW!! Come to the house at 8:00am or meet at Juniper Residence Hall (top of the hill on the Bend COCC campus) at 7:30am.

The PTD HOUSE ADDRESS is: 336 SE Miller Ave. Bend, OR 97702, off of 3rd St.

Get ready to help paint the Espinoza family's home! Coffee and breakfast provided, as well as lunch, free T-shirts and raffle prizes! See you tomorrow morning!

Countdown to PTD: 4 DAYS!! That's right, Paint the Deschutes is THIS Friday!! In the next couple of days we will post the address to the Espinoza house and the agenda for Friday. Come and support your local community and have some fun!!

Thanks to all the volunteers, the Lock Family, and donating businesses for making the fourth annual Paint the Deschutes a success!!
