Leadership That Restores Public Trust - that's Bernadette Strome, Bend Mayoral Candidate

When local government feels distant, it’s usually because elected officials have stopped actively engaging with the people they serve.

Restoring trust requires a Council culture where every member takes responsibility for constituent outreach and continuous reporting.

We need leadership that holds the entire Council to a higher standard of community engagement.

Bernadette Strome brings the pragmatic skills, open-door mindset, and leadership strength required to foster a transparent, resident-focused Council culture.

She will ensure that every Councilor actively represents their constituents and that your voice directly shapes the future of our city

Focus on Governance & Fiscal Pragmatism - Vote Bernadette Strome for Bend Mayor

As a former City Councilor and candidate for Mayor, I know firsthand the weight of managing Bend's growth and stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

True leadership requires balancing long-term vision with grounded financial discipline.

Right now, our community needs a City Hall focused on the essentials: managing traffic congestion, maintaining our roads, and creating an environment where local small businesses can thrive.

That is why I am supporting Bernadette Strome for Mayor.

Bernadette understands that every dollar spent must directly serve our residents' everyday priorities. She brings a practical, grassroots focus to City Hall to ensure our local economy remains vibrant and accessible.

Whether you can contribute $15, volunteer your time, or simply talk to your neighbors about the future of our city, your support makes a direct impact. Help us push Bernadette over the finish line and bring responsive governance back to City Hall. Learn more, sign up, and donate today at Bernadette for Bend Mayor. To my fellow neighbors -

As our community approaches the November mayoral election, this is a crucial time for the future of Bend.

Having served our city as a former City Councilor and candidate for mayor, I’ve seen firsthand how much our municipal government directly impacts the daily lives of every resident.

Now more than ever, we need to focus our attention on candidates who are running for the right reason: to represent the greater good of Bend.

Local city government works best when it remains focused on local needs rather than national party politics. We need a non-partisan Council made up of leaders who:

Listen and stay accountable: Putting community input above political ideology and showing up for all residents.

Champion local small businesses: Supporting small businesses as the true economic engine and backbone of our community by creating an environment where local enterprise can thrive.

Focus on core municipal services: Prioritizing essential infrastructure, public safety, and basic services that keep our city running smoothly.

Manage growth responsibly: Balancing smart development with the unique character of our neighborhoods.

Deliver on key priorities: Driving real progress on affordable housing, economic development, and safe transportation networks.

When you cast your vote this fall, look for candidates dedicated to listening, staying accessible, and keeping Bend a vibrant, livable community for everyone.

Let’s keep the focus where it belongs—on the future of our city.
