If you’re planning to attend the 49th Annual World Catfish Festival this Saturday (4/11/26), please don’t miss out on visiting the story-walk in Centennial Park, featuring CATFISH “America’s Most Lovable Fish” by Captain Catfish‼️

This picture/coloring book details the steps of raising catfish from farm to table and the illustrations were actually colored/painted in by a group of children in the Humphreys County community! Thank you to Mrs. Kathy Gilmer’s art students at HA Elementary for your time and hard work making this awesome display for our county’s largest event!! Great job!🖍️🎣📚

The featured book is informative for children and adults. If you’re able to visit the story-walk, please scan the barcode at the end and give us your feedback. The Humphreys County Library and the Humphreys County 4-H partnered to provide this display and it will be available to visit for several weeks before we change the book! Please share!❤️

STEM Day was awesome! Thank you to all who showed up and brought the kiddos, we enjoyed them so much‼️

A few of the STEM activities available today included a ‘robotic hand claw’, a marble run set, magnetic robot building, a terrarium (that is now displayed at the front desk), a sand box for digging Dinos, and several others!🦕🧪🤖

Thanks again to Delta Health Alliance, Ashley M. Smith, the volunteers who came to help, the teachers, Daycares, parents, and the library staff, including our very own consultant from the Mississippi Library Commission, Natalie Dunaway, for all the support and planning that made this event a success! This is community love at its best!❤️

We are ready for STEM Day at the library tomorrow morning with Delta Health Alliance at 10AM‼️

CLOVER 🍀 CARE READING CLUB is back and will be on Monday, February 23rd @ 4:00 PM‼️📚

As usual, we will have story-time, crafts, SNACKS, and plenty of play/social time!! This is for children who are 5-12 years old.

Don’t miss out! Normally, we have book club on Wednesdays but we were not able to next week due to scheduling conflicts.
