Belvidere, NJ celebrates neighborly stories of unique kindness Saturday March 7th with 10 participating businesses displaying each a different storyboard of unique kindness. Pick up a 'peace passport' at any location, visit and peruse in any order, and get stamped. If you visit all 10 you can enter your passport in the raffle Sunday! A beautiful wood box, painted Belvidere with handles, made and donated by local vendor Frank's Rough Cut Lumber. The gift basket will be filled with suprise goodies from the 10 businesses!
Sunday March 8th from noon til 4 visit the Courthouse steps area, 2nd Street, for A Slice of New Jersey and Waffle Cabin foodtrucks. At 1 pm hear town leaders, kicked off by Mayor Miers, and interspersed with lovely choir singing. The peace passport local business raffle will be drawn around 2:30, on the courthouse steps! Food trucks til 4pm. Feel free to stick around and enjoy the open air and, hey, maybe meet some new folks! "Strangers are just friends you havent met yet."
